LSQA office opening in Dubai
Within the framework of the celebration of Uruguay Day at Expo Dubai – the first universal exposition to take place in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region – in which an official mission led by the President of the Republic participated, the launch of the LSQA office in Dubai was held.
The event took place in the Uruguayan pavilion, with the presence of the Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining, Omar Paganini, and the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Fernando Mattos. On behalf of LSQA were present: its president, Ruperto Long -also president of LATU- the shareholder representative director, Gabriel Murara; the executive director, Jorge Arismendi and the alternate executive directors Ignacio Guarnieri and Carolina Devoto; as well as the Egyptian engineer Sayed El-Giushy, who will be responsible for directing the operations in Dubai.
For ten years, the engineer Sayed El-Giushy has successfully directed the activities of LSQA Middle East Ltd., a company that brings together more than thirty technicians and twenty specialized auditors at its headquarters in Giza (Cairo, Egypt) and which grants about 400 annual certifications.
LSQA has recently carried out activities in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. This led the management of said company to decide to open a headquarters in Dubai in order to be able to offer its services to the entire Persian Gulf region.
